Meet Eli

Eli Aronoff is a Steadicam/Camera Operator for movies and episodic TV. Although he loves his day job, photography has always been a passion of his.

In 2020 the film business suffered from a five month shut down due to Covid 19. Then, three years later, another five month shut down occurred from the Writers and Actors strike. After these two huge work stoppages Eli realized not only the importance of having another source of income, but also his need to have an outlet to express himself as a creative person.

It was this that gave him the drive to share his fine art photographs with the world. His very unique style combining street and astrophotography renders impressive and inspiring images.

When not on a film set with a motion picture camera, he is with his still camera taking breathtaking images of life on the street and in the sky, incorporating his passion for astro and street photography. Most of his photographs include the sun, moon and or stars.

In the countryside away from the light pollution of the city Eli loves to capture images of deep space like nebulae, stars, the milky-way and more.

As a child, Eli belonged to his neighborhood camera club in Fresh Meadows, NY. He was fortunate to have members who patiently taught him the intricacies of photography, igniting his passion for the art. Their guidance and support left a mark on him, inspiring Eli to pay it forward. Today, Eli is driven by the desire to empower the youth of underprivileged communities with the same opportunities that shaped his life. In this spirit, He has chosen to allocate 10% of all proceeds towards a nonprofit organization called Photo Start. This organization provides underprivileged youth with access to photo equipment and the chance to learn the art of photography from volunteers just as he did.
